Role

• Write Regulations and Syllabus preparation for each certification course.

• Set the Methodology of Assessment and Evaluation for each course.

• Identify Panel of Examiners.

Proceedings from BOS in Kannada Academy   

• First meeting with UoM April 2020

• BoS has approved for 2 certificate courses, namely

  • Basic Kannada Certificate Course [BKCC]

  • Advanced Kannada Certificate Course [AKCC]

Board of Examination (BoE)

• The UoM has given affiliation for the special certificate courses with syllabus and formed this board to develop the academic examination requirements.

• The BoS has approved for 2 certificate courses, namely:

  1. Basic Kannada Certificate Course [BKCC] – duration 1 year, consisting of two semesters, total 16 credits. Syllabus for BKCC: Swaraballa-1, Swaraballa-2, Aksharaballa-1 & Aksharaballa-2

  2. Advanced Kannada Certificate Course [AKCC] – duration 2 years, consisting of four semesters, total 32 credits.

• Question Papers: BoE is responsible to prepare the Question Papers for both levels.

• Evaluation of the Answer Papers: BoE is responsible for evaluation of the Answer Papers as per the guidelines of the University of Mysore Board of Education.
